Asian Public Mental Health Virtual Congress

1st Edition of Asian Public Mental Health Virtual Congress has been successfully completed on January 23, 2021 with the support of Chair and Advisory Committee Members. Due to COVID-19 pandemic and for the safeguard of the participants, the conference was held virtually with Live presentations and discussion.

The conference was Chaired by Mr. Leo Petrilli, Addiction Recovery Connector & Coach, Canada with the opening speech and Keynote Talk on “How do I get out of this?” followed by the second Keynote Talk of Dr. Douglas Tynan, American Diabetes Association, USA on “Diabetes and emotional health”.

The Special session by Dr. Austin Mardon and Dr. Catherine A. Mardon on “Special issues for the seriously mentally ill during pandemic recovery” has been applaud by the audience. 

The other conference speakers consisted of Saleh Al Hasnawi (Honorary President, Iraqi Association of Psychiatrists), Jihene Mrabet (The American University in the Emirates, UAE, Sangeetha Param (Author and Speaker, India), Lale Pinar ÇORAKLI (Nişantaşı University, Turkey), Msiza Ngoanamogoashi Ireen (Groblersdal Hospital, South Africa), Ankit Halder (Dy Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, India) and Luca M Possati (University of Porto, Portugal).

We would like to especially thank the Speakers who participated from more than 10 countries, as well as the delegates who participated in the intensive complete day of discussions.
